はじめまして。岩下智昭と申します。
大阪生まれ、大阪育ちの全国通訳案内士です。
航空会社で20年以上、客室乗務員およびチーフとして勤務し、国内外のさまざまなお客様と接してきました。その後、教育・研修の仕事を経て、現在は通訳ガイドとして活動しています。
歴史や文化を学ぶことが好きで、特に京都の寺社、仏教・神道、日本庭園、茶の湯、伝統工芸に関心があります。京都市認定通訳ガイドの資格も取得しています。
ガイドとして大切にしているのは、たくさんの知識を一方的にお伝えすることではなく、お客様の興味やペースに合わせて、日本の文化や日常をわかりやすくご紹介することです。
大阪出身ならではの親しみやすさと、長年の接客経験を生かし、安心して楽しんでいただける旅をお手伝いしたいと思っています。

Hello, my name is Chiaki Iwashita.
Please call me Jackie.
I was born and raised in Osaka, and I am a nationally licensed English-speaking guide in Japan.
Before becoming a guide, I worked as a flight attendant and chief cabin crew member for more than 20 years. During my airline career, I had the opportunity to meet and assist people from many different countries and backgrounds. I also have experience in education and training.
I have a strong interest in Japanese history and culture, especially temples and shrines, Buddhism and Shinto, Japanese gardens, the tea ceremony, and traditional crafts. I am also a Kyoto City Certified Interpreter Guide.
As a guide, I try not to simply give my guests a lot of facts. I want to make Japanese history and culture easy to understand, interesting, and enjoyable. I also like to adjust each tour to my guests’ interests and pace..
With my Osaka background and many years of hospitality experience, I hope to make every guest feel comfortable, well cared for, and welcome in Japan.
