I am Keiichi. Call me Kei, a member of JFG, Japan Federation of Certified Guides and NGA, Niigata Guide-Interpreter Association.

I am living in Joetsu City and have worked for the city office for over thirty years. It's my pleasure to introduce my home town and surrounding areas.

Joetsu City is located in Niigata Prefecture and is close to Nagano and Toyama Prefecture. Kanazawa City is also about one hour away by a bullet train. My love of this area has made it my specialty.

Feel refreshed and rejuvenated by visiting the beautiful coastline of the Sea of Japan, hiking and skiing local mountains, and seeing picturesque rice fields.

Stunning scenery, delicious seafood, authentic sake, we have it all.
Including rich Japanese history and snow culture that you can enjoy to your heart's content. And I am sure that you will have a great time with the friendly and straightforward local people.

Tokyo and Kyoto are good places to visit, but I believe Japan's local cities are worth a visit.

Getting here is easy, just a short bullet train ride on the Hokuriku Shinkansen from Tokyo.
