I live in the mountain region of Hiroshima Prefecture, where my family has been growing rice for generations. When I’m not tending to the rice fields or raising my children, I guide travelers from around the world through places such as Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and Miyajima.
Being a guide is one of my greatest joys—it allows me to share the history and beauty of Hiroshima directly with visitors. At the same time, rice farming is an essential part of my life and identity. Working with the land and carrying on my family’s tradition gives me a deep sense of pride, and it enriches the way I connect with the people I guide.

Beyond the famous landmarks, Hiroshima is full of hidden gems—quiet mountain shrines, scenic forest roads, small villages, and local spots that can only be reached by car. These are the places where you can truly feel the rhythm of everyday life in Japan.

I love sharing not only the history and culture of Hiroshima, but also the deeper, more personal side of Japan that most visitors never get to see. Rice is at the very core of Japanese culture. As a rice farmer myself, I can share a deeper understanding of what it means to be Japanese and why rice holds such a special, almost spiritual place in our daily lives.My goal is to create a day that feels meaningful, warm, and unforgettable—like spending time with a local friend who welcomes you into their world.
